Creative Writing Workshops
Molly offers 1-on-1 and group creative writing workshops for folks of all ages and specializes in working with young people (ages 10-25). These can be in person for those who live near Ann Arbor, MI or virtual, and they can be one-off or recurring workshops. For example, she holds biweekly 1x1 creative writing workshops over zoom with a set of middle and high school-aged siblings.
"I learned how to write more authentically since Molly became my mentor. Molly has helped me through her wisdom, patience, and showing me what strong writing looks like by being a strong writer." - Maria Theocharakis

Romeo Is Bleeding
Many schools and organizations around the world have used the documentary “Romeo Is Bleeding” as a tool for discussing gun violence, racism, historical trauma, and healing through creative expression. Several cities have also used the film to help train their public defenders to support their system-involved youth clients better.
Molly and Donté have previously led workshops, talkbacks, and live performances at schools, nonprofits, juvenile facilities, and teacher conferences. If you would like to show the film in your community or schedule a talk back or writing workshop, contact Molly for more details. There is also a supplemental curriculum available for educators teaching Romeo & Juliet.

Spoken Word Program Development
Molly and Donté have supported schools and organizations to launch or strengthen performing arts programs in their communities.
If you’d like support in starting a program like RAW Talent or Staying Power (or creating a youth poet laureate program) in your community, Molly can help. Contact her today to discuss the scope of what you’re imagining.
Molly can support you in mapping out a theory of change, creating a multi-year program plan, and can provide sample curriculum, grant language, and other guidance.
